Classically, sexual dysfunction was synonymous with erectile dysfunction. With a growing understanding of surgical and urologic related disorders, this narrow definition has changed to include all aspects of male sexuality.

Within the Department of Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine, the Sexual Medicine Program is a world-renowned state-of-the-art facility for diagnostic and therapeutic care. With sub-specialty expertise in disorders of the penis, erections, ejaculatory and orgasmic dysfunction and male hormone issues, among others, we offer compassionate and in-depth services for men with a broad spectrum of problems.

We understand that sexual dysfunction can significantly affect a man's quality of life, self-image and confidence, and result in problems with interpersonal relations. Furthermore, many men suffer in silence without seeing a qualified specialist in sexual medicine, thus missing a chance to have a fulfilling personal and sexual life.

We offer a comprehensive evaluation and multidisciplinary approach to care, allowing us to closely collaborate with specialists in neurology, endocrinology, cardiology, sleep medicine, psychology and psychiatry in order to provide optimum care for our patients.

We have extensive experience with various forms of drug, surgical and device therapies for the treatment of sexual dysfunction. We are also actively involved in clinical trials assessing new treatments.
